Grosmont House set in the heart of the thriving village of Grosmont, you find us down a quiet leafy cul-de-sac, set higher up with good view of the village and the surrounding wooded slopes. Grosmont is the steam train headquarters of the North York Moors Railway, a short walk takes you to the wonderful NYMR station and the engine shed and shop. There is a great pub selling cask beers, numerous cafes teashops, a pub, an artisan gallery, a bookshop, a general store even a post office! Beyond that is the glorious landscape of the Esk Valley and the North York Moors, the vibrant seaside town of Whitby and the quaint seaside village of Robins Hood Bay, in fact there are an abundance of places to visit and too numerous to mention here. But for us we feel we have found one of the most beautiful places in to live and we are very excited about sharing it with all the guests we have yet to meet.
